Victor D. Woodlief, DMD and Associates
Meet Our Team
Dr Victor Woodlief, DMD
I am committed to treating each patient according to his or her own health needs, and with the same care and compassion that I would want for my own family. This begins with my absolute belief in collaborating with other medical professionals to evaluate each patient’s individual health situation, and formulate a treatment plan aimed at maximizing the patient’s overall health.
Education and Continuing Education
After receiving a scholarship, I began my undergraduate work in biological sciences at the University of California Los Angeles, where I also ran for the track team. I completed my Bachelor of Science degree at the University of California Santa Cruz. I went on to receive my Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts.
I understand the importance of staying up to date on the newest, most advanced technology and treatment options. Since completing my formal education, I have devoted over 2600 hours to continuing education courses including TMJ therapy, sleep disorders, orthodontics, and pain management. I have also given a number of presentations across the US, including the Annual Symposium of the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT).

Outside the Office
I was born in San Francisco and have lived in San Jose for more than 20 years. My family is extremely important to me, and I am very proud of them! My only son works for the Graduate School of Public Health at the University of Washington in Seattle, where he is pursuing his PhD. My older brother recently completed his bachelor’s degree in geography. I am a dedicated uncle to my teenage niece and nephew, the children of my youngest sister and her husband. We all work hard, and when we vacation together every year, we like to play as hard as we work!
I enjoy being active in my community and volunteer frequently at local elementary school health fairs to talk about good dental health. Previously, I was a staff member at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital at Stanford.
As a sports enthusiast, I also love working with athletes. Through my expertise in TMJ functions, I work with athletes to create performance mouthguards that help them improve their breathing, strength, agility, and balance. I also worked with the NFL Players’ Association and NFL Alumni for several years to provide health screenings for retired athletes.
Jaylyn Geronimo - Front Desk Coordinator
In 2012 I graduated from the Dental Assisting program at San Jose City College. I joined Dr. Woodlief’s staff as the Front Office Coordinator in 2014. I enjoy being a part of Dr. Woodlief’s team because the environment is so inviting and positive. I am hard-working and am dedicated to assisting our patients and answering any questions they may have to make their visits at our office as smooth as possible. I love the interaction I have with our patients, and the relationships we have built.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, and going to concerts and festivals.
Erin - Dental Hygienist
I graduated from Taft College with my A.S. Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2005 and have been working with Dr. Woodlief since 2007. It is very important to me to keep up with the latest information and technology and to educate our patients during their dental cleanings, so that they are happy and their smiles are healthy. Since joining this practice, I’ve had the privilege of working with many people and building great relationships.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, watching movies, and going to live music and sporting events.
Daisy Gonzales - Registered Dental Assistant
In 2010 I attended San Jose City College with a desire to learn about dental assisting, and received my Registered Dental Assistant license in 2013. After being in the field for five years, I am fortunate to have found Dr. Woodlief. I really enjoy working in an office that is not only dental but is helping patients with TMJ disorders and their associated symptoms.
In my free time, I like to be outdoors, exploring new locations where I can hike.
